- The importance of data management and verification.
Course Objective: Upon completion, participants will be able to:
- Understand the importance of quantifying and reporting GHG emissions.
- Recognize the core requirements of ISO 14064-1.
- Identify the different categories of GHG emissions (Scope 1, 2, and 3).
- Contribute to the development of a company’s GHG inventory.
Certificate: Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a Certificate of Attendance from LR Energy & Tech.
Course Pre-requisite: None. This course is suitable for individuals with no prior knowledge of GHG accounting.
Course Fees: SGD $290 per participant or Lumpsum SGD 1,900 for group of 20 participants.
Venue: We offer training at our modern facilities in the Central Business District of Singapore, or we can conduct the training at your company's premises.

This ISO 14064 Verification Training is designed for professionals who need to confirm the accuracy and credibility of a company's greenhouse gas (GHG) statements and reports. This course provides a robust understanding of the verification process, which is critical for ensuring transparency and building stakeholder trust in your organization's climate action claims.

Course Content:
- Introduction to ISO 14064-3 and the principles of GHG verification and validation.
- Review of ISO 14064-1 and its role in creating a credible GHG inventory.
- How to define the scope, objectives, and criteria for a verification engagement.
- Techniques for planning and preparing for a GHG verification, including risk assessment.
- Conducting the verification process: gathering evidence, performing a strategic review, and identifying discrepancies.
- Writing a clear and concise verification statement and report.
Course Objective: Upon completion, participants will be able to:
- Understand the fundamental principles and requirements of GHG verification.
- Plan and execute a systematic verification of a company's GHG statement.
- Identify potential misstatements or non-conformities in a GHG report.
- Provide credible assurance to stakeholders regarding a company's climate data.
Certificate: Participants who successfully pass the course assessment will receive a Certificate of Competence in ISO 14064 Verification.
Course Pre-requisite: A solid understanding of GHG accounting and reporting is essential. It's highly recommended that participants have completed our ISO 14064 Awareness training or have equivalent professional experience.
Course Fees: SGD $550 per participant or lumpsum fee of $1,800 for 5 participants.
