• Duration: 3 Days 

• Course Content:

  • Day 1: Introduction to ISO 50001 and its key principles, understanding the context of the organization, and initiating an EnMS implementation project.

  • Day 2: Planning the EnMS, including conducting energy reviews, identifying significant energy uses (SEUs), establishing energy baselines, and developing energy performance indicators (EnPIs). This day also covers the implementation phase, focusing on operational control and procurement.

  • Day 3: Monitoring, measurement, and analysis of energy performance, conducting internal audits, management review, and preparing the organization for the final certification audit. Includes a certification exam.

• Course Objective: Upon completion, participants will be able to:

  • Master the concepts and principles of an EnMS based on ISO 50001.

  • Lead the planning and implementation of an EnMS, using best practices.

  • Prepare an organization for a successful third-party certification audit.

  • Manage and continually improve an EnMS in line with the standard's requirements.

• Certificate: Participants who successfully pass the final exam will receive a globally recognized "ISO 50001 Lead Implementer" certification.

• Course Pre-requisite: A fundamental understanding of ISO 50001 requirements is highly recommended. Attending our Awareness course or having equivalent professional experience in energy management is a strong foundation.

• Course Fees: SGD $600 per participant or lumpsum fee of $2100 for group of 5 participants.

• Venue: We offer training at a dedicated venue in the Central Business District of Singapore. In-house training at your company's premises is also available upon request.

  • Review of ISO 50001:2018 requirements and their interpretation for auditing purposes.

  • The principles of auditing based on ISO 19011:2018.

  • Planning and conducting an internal audit, including how to develop effective checklists and interview techniques.

  • Collecting objective evidence through observation, interviews, and document review.

  • Documenting findings, writing factual audit reports, and identifying non-conformities.

  • Following up on corrective actions to drive continual improvement.

• Course Objective: Upon completion, participants will be able to:

  • Plan and execute an internal audit of an EnMS.

  • Gather objective evidence and identify non-conformities.

  • Write clear and concise audit reports.

  • Contribute to the continual improvement of the company’s EnMS.

• Certificate: Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a Certificate of Competence in ISO 50001 Internal Auditing from LR Energy & Tech.

• Course Pre-requisite: A good understanding of the ISO 50001 standard is highly recommended. It's a strong foundation to have attended our ISO 50001 Awareness training or possess equivalent professional experience in energy management.
